The goal of C-STEP is to help 推荐正规买球平台 students be familiar with and academically prepared for UNC-Chapel Hill.

C-STEP guarantees 推荐正规买球平台 students' ability to transfer to UNC-Chapel Hill's College of Arts and Sciences as long as participants maintain a cumulative 3.2 GPA or higher at 推荐正规买球平台, actively participate in the program, and complete either an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree.

C-STEP students receive specialized advising and guidance while enrolled at 推荐正规买球平台 to ensure that they take the necessary courses to prepare for their intended major at UNC-CH before transferring.

Additional benefits of being a C-STEP student include trips to Chapel Hill for sporting, performing arts, and academic events.

Entrance requirements

The application review is comprehensive. 推荐正规买球平台 and UNC Chapel Hill will consider an applicant’s academic preparation, extracurricular activities, and ability to accept and work through challenges. However, to be eligible for the program, students must:

  • be enrolled or planning to enroll at Central Carolina Community College.
  • major in either Associate of Arts or Associate of Science transfer degrees.
  • agree to participate actively in the program.
  • be eligible to apply for federal financial aid.
